For New Parents of Children with Down syndrome or other disability

The Infant and Toddler Development Series will cover gross and fine motor skills, speech, sensory, hearing, and social skills development. There will be a new expert presenter each week to provide information and answer your questions. For parents of babies 0-18 months old. **Translation services available upon request! Learn how to support babies with Down syndrome/and or other disabilities as they grow and develop by connecting with other parents and professionals! This six-week series is free to new parents and offered virtually, so you can join from anywhere. Language interpretation available upon request!

This program is a six-week virtual series. Here is the schedule:

Beginning February 18 - March 25, 2025: All sessions will be held virtually from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.


Tuesday, February 25, 2025- Social Learning through Play, presented by Lathyrelle Isler, Behavior Specialist

Tuesday, March 4, 2025- Hearing presented by Judy Alonzi, Hearing Specialist

Tuesday March 11, 2025- Speech Development, presented by Mariam Cherry, Speech Therapist

Tuesday March 18, 2025- Fine Motor/Sensory, presented by Marissa Hanks, Occupational Therapist

Tuesday March 25, 2025- Gross Motor, presented by Breanna Hennessy, Physical Therapist
