Join more than 400 general and special educators, parents, self-advocates, and other professionals from Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region to discover how to better educate children and young adults with disabilities.
Receive a certificate of attendance!
Our keynote speaker is Natalie Hale, an award-winning author, an innovative educator, parent of an adult son with Down syndrome, and for 28 years, a national and international speaker on the topic of teaching reading to learners with Down syndrome and other developmental delays.
We are also offering a track just for self-advocates (ages 14+), which will include sessions on teamwork and self-advocacy, vision board creation, and more! Note that the self-advocate ticket offers flexibility - Self-advocates can attend the self-advocate track or attend sessions in the other tracks.
